COMMON CHIPPING MISTAKES These pictures cover just some of the faults we often help fix. A technique like the top left image where the hands try to help the ball up with a flicking motion is one of the chief causes of fat and thins. Poor posture like the middle right picture can also cause your swing path to alter each time, which again harms your chipping consistency. Using your full swing set-up to chip is less common, but we do help lots of beginners with this problem and love it when their scores start to tumble. Using too much shaft lean like the bottom right image is another common fault we can help fix. Learning to use the bounce more efficiently will increase both your spin and control. |
